Last week, the team at Vertech opened the doors to their Osborne Park Training Centre, giving guests the chance to tour the facility, meet the instructors, and get hands-on with their purpose-built training structures and rope systems.

The Vertech Open Night was a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a career in rope access, looking to sharpen their skills, or simply wanting to connect with others in the industry.

We were there with our famous Karabiner Challenge (and, of course, couldn't say no to a sausage sizzle 🌭). With a stack of prizes up for grabs, the fastest competitor of the night took home a brand-new Petzl Rig!

🏆 Congratulations to Declan Harper from Arrow Safe Access, who flew through the challenge in an impressive 34 seconds - just 3 seconds behind the long-standing record held by Vertech's own Rob Lucking (31 seconds).

A huge thank you to the Vertech team for having us. It was an awesome evening, and it was great to see so many people getting involved. We can't wait for the next one!
