🚨 Changes to superannuation affecting every business owner 👇🏼

From 1st July 2026:

Super must be paid every pay day
Paid at the same time as wages
Funds must reach super within 7 business days

Why this matters:

Cash flow will be impacted
Payroll systems must process super every pay run
ATO clearing house (SBSCH) is closing
Penalties apply per payday, not quarterly

This means that employer and director risk is increasing:

Missed payments = penalties + interest
Less margin for error
Directors face greater personal liability
Early preparation reduces risk

What you should do now:

Prepare early to avoid disruption. Review payroll systems and cash flow planning.

If you aren't ready for software I highly recommend using a separate business bank account for your business to keep things separated and easy to manage.

Different business structures:

🌸 Sole trader - trade in your own name

🌸 Partnership - where 2 or more entities trade as partners
