WA is falling behind in new housing energy star ratings. The minimum 6 stars is not enough to meet future reductions in green house gases in the building sector, and not enough to reduce ongoing energy needs and costs in the day to day running of the house. It's not that difficult...just comes down to good design and some improvements on glazing and insulation!

We wondered how many buildings exceeded the minimum standard.
