One of the most special parts of this season has been the moments in between the tours. Heading out on tinny missions with no expectations, yet somehow always being lucky enough to experience the most incredible wildlife encounters.

This year I’ve really started to understand the true scale and sheer size of whalesharks, especially when photographed from below. Watching this animal from below is quite surreal.
