Have you ever felt overwhelmed by small, daily tasks piling up at work 🤔? Try using the “One Task” Rule to keep your mind organised! The idea is rather simple: when starting a small task focus on it until you finish it then and there. Do not make it overly complicated and do it later as doing this can compound your small tasks into a bigger combined more complicated problem
Examples of this include
✉️ Emails - Don’t think about it as “I’ll reply to that later” and close it. think about it as every email requires an action, whether its Deleting it, Archiving it or Replying to it, action it then and there.
🗒️ Notes - Notes don’t have to be overly complicated, But this small task when completed makes the rest of the work day run smoother and can often be done at the same time as another task.
✏️ Cleaning up your Workspace - Make sure you are keeping your work space tidy, regardless on what career you’ve chosen. Have old notes on your desk that you don’t want to risk getting damaged? Put them in a folder or a filing cabinet and away from your workspace. This also makes your mind less cluttered making you more efficient for the rest of your work day.

Today is Accessibility Awareness Day.
Accessibility Awareness Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of May to promote digital inclusion and access for more than one billion people in the world living with disability. We can participate by attending workshops, using accessible design practices (like adding screen reader technology to our posts) and working together with national advocacy groups and services.
Businesses that have a presence on social media can improve accessibility by providing alternative text for images. This small feature helps people with visual impairments use screen readers to better understand the content and read text more easily.
Comment below on ideas you could use in your business’s online presence that could make it more accessible for people with disabilities 👇.
