Congratulations to Don West on the publication of his new book, 'Ask, and It Will Be Given to You': The Relationship of Promises and Conditions in New Testament Petitionary Prayer.

It was wonderful to celebrate at the recent book launch. Thom Bull presented a review of Don's book, which highlights the harmony and relationship between God's promises and conditions in petitionary prayer. In addition to providing detailed exegetical examination of key New Testament texts, the book explores a number of pastoral questions including how can we pray with confidence of being heard by God, how can we trust that Jesus' promises about prayer are reliable, and how should we understand the experience of not receiving what we have asked for. It is an encouraging and valuable read for pastors, theological students and academics alike.

We also had the privilege of hearing from Don as he was interviewed by Dan Cole about the circumstances that led to his book being written.
