At headspace Midland, we’re always blown away by the young people who show up, speak up and make real change in their communities and today we’re hyping up one of our own!

Kieran from the Our Place Youth Committee, has been nominated for the Awards Australia Tertiary Education Achievement Award and the Garlett Group Create Change Award for the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards WA 2026, recognising their incredible work in advocacy, community leadership and youth empowerment.

Balancing study, volunteering, mentoring and lived‑experience advocacy, Kieran is proof that young people are not just the future, they’re creating change right now. We’re proud to stand alongside young leaders like Kieran who make our community stronger, safer and more connected.

Congratulations Kieran!💚
