And so it begins…

Well Gold star round 2 finished pretty ok with P8 in the final and heat 3. It was a rough Sunday with the tag light field turning into a battle ground. We got up to P4 in heat 3 then got smashed from behind dropping us to P12 but recovered to P8. The final started well getting into P5 from a P9 start. An interesting final saw a number of overtakes and drama but we ended up P8 in the end. A decent result in a field of 23 but had pace to be in the top 3 to 5 throughout the weekend. Looking forward to King of the Hill where we will be mounting a challenge for the crown. Big thanks to Dad for his hard work on the kart and my family for the support. Also Flatout karts for the technical help.
