A debate that sparked at office.

I'm the only female in my team at work.

But we all get along really well to clarify 1st.

I was talking with one of the guys yesterday just casual about men's strengths in business and womens strengths in business and he suddenly makes a comment

Him: (womt name) "Women when they fly high should be pulled down. Success gets into women's head too fast".

Me : "And if men fly high, with success in their head". Then push him up because he is the provider and 99% of the time he feels less then what he is. So push him up".

I was shocked. Then he accused me of changing the context of my question. While I only asked him this.

Me : "Now flip your question and answer me".

Then started explaining how he respects women and they are the nurturer of the society. And how men protect their tribe.

It was so bizarre.

This leads me to ONE big question.

Do men feel that they are not nurtured by the women anymore?

Do they feel like their place in the society of "The Protector" has been taken?

Is there a big confusion in the roles?

Write what you feel but no hate comments towards each other. Towards me is fine, I don't get effected. Lol

She looked back at her old life one last time and took a deep breath and said "I'm ready for my new story book to begin".
