These past few weeks have been a full-on blur of kids, chaos, and the kind of summer days that feel like they’ll never end. Swim, surf, playgrounds, Nippers, and Rottnest adventures — little humans on the move 24/7, and me somehow trying to keep up (and sneak in a bit of Pilates whenever I can 🫠). School holidays were absolutely non-stop, but filled with laughter, mess, and moments I’ll never forget.

Between cubbies in the lounge, kids dancing like maniacs, endless “eat, swim, sleep, repeat” routines — and a lot of sibling drama (who knew two humans could argue so much over literally everything 😂) — reminders that life is chaotic but beautiful. The simple joys of Aussie summer, afternoons at the beach, and watching George catching waves and loving Nippers… it’s exhausting, but magic all at once.

I’ve been living in full mum-mode, minimal me-time, and a lot of “just get through the day” energy. But in the midst of all that chaos, there have been little sparks of home styling, deliveries arriving, things being organised, and projects quietly ticking along behind the scenes. Slowly, things are starting to come together — both the house and life — and I’m so excited to share what’s been happening while I was too busy to post (no doubt the algorithm will punish me for being away 😆).

Now school’s back, I’m back into routine, and I can finally breathe again. I’ve got so much content to share — our home, renos, styling moments, collabs, and the little chaos-filled memories (sibling squabbles included 😅) that make life so colourful. I can’t wait to reveal all the things that have been quietly building behind the scenes… 2026, I’m ready for you! ✨

…but I couldn’t miss the chance to reflect on 2016.

Wow, what a year that was ❤️🥰

Back then, I was childless and living a double life — corporate finance girl in oil & gas by day, fashion “influencer” by night. Fashion was definitely my main focus (with some amazing travel opportunities) ✨❤️

I travelled with the influencer part of my life, partnering with incredible brands (including , , AMP Capital ambassador — back when it was & Garden City), and even face and judge for .

Lots of bikini moments (yes, including TRIANGL 😎), activewear on repeat, denim, and faceless white wall shots were my jam… and I thought I was busy then!

Loved-up, career-driven, long-term brand partnerships, and easily 10+ shoes a month to shoot content — so many parcels! I was just enjoying the ride. No regrets — just memories and gratitude for such a fun time 💛

Now, I’m much more at home — fashion is still a part of my life, but with a little mum vibe tucked in. It’s been a wild ride, and never in a million years did I think I’d still be creating content as my main job. But here I am, loving that I’ve been able to dedicate the best part of myself to my kids while being at home with them. What a blessing that is!

2026… is a shift. The kids are full-time at school, my big renovation is behind me, and this year is all about decorating the spaces I’ve created, and taking on smaller projects (that don’t require a team of builders 😮‍💨🥵), while finding new opportunities to work from home — exciting times ahead! ✨

2026 really said “new year, fresh start”… and then tested us 😮‍💨

While holidaying, Bella had a bike accident and a few days later her wounds became more inflamed, with irritation from the bandaids. Five days later, we saw the GP and started antibiotic cream.

Later that day, a rash appeared all over her body. Something didn’t feel right, and we were quite concerned, so I took her to Urgent Care, where a non-blanching rash was also spotted and we were sent straight to Emergency.

Those first conversations were confronting — doctors needed to rule out serious infection and the risk of it spreading further. It was a very scary few days not knowing the cause.

After blood tests and IV antibiotics and a hospital stay, she responded really well and is now recovering beautifully 🫶 So grateful it was picked up quickly.

Best part? Back in the ocean after 11 days off — and our little mermaid says it was the best day ever 🧜‍♀️💙
