We built this Jarrah decking 12 years ago, and it’s stood the test of time beautifully. Recently, we upgraded the space with new balustrades featuring solid Merbau timber posts, sleek handrails, and stainless steel wire — a combination that really elevates the whole front portico.
After oiling, the natural timber tones have come to life, bringing a warm, slightly rustic charm that makes the area feel both inviting and refined. Couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.

For this bathroom renovation in Bayswater, I worked closely with my tiler to completely remove the existing floor and floor joists, gutting the entire bathroom while preserving the beautiful pressed tin decorative metal panels, which will be the final feature painted to finish the space.
On this project the client organised her own cabinet maker and electrician – not quite how I usually run things – but we worked through it together and achieved a great result in the end.
