🧩 Strengthen workforce capability across Western Australia’s family and domestic violence sector.
The Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing is seeking a Workforce Development and Capability Lead to join the new Family and Domestic Violence Workforce Entity.
This role is responsible for leading workforce capability strategies aligned to WA family and domestic violence system reform priorities and sector needs, while supporting quality, consistency and continuous improvement across the FDV system.
In this role, you will:
✨ Develop and maintain the FDV Workforce Entity’s Capability Development Plan
✨ Analyse workforce capability gaps, emerging practice areas and future workforce needs
✨ Design and deliver practical capability initiatives, including training, professional development, resources and communities of practice
✨ Manage contracted workforce development projects, including scope, timelines, budgets, risks and outcomes
✨ Work with government, specialist FDV services, ACCOs, training providers, research partners and community organisations
✨ Support workforce initiatives that embed trauma-informed, culturally responsive, evidence-informed and survivor-centred practice

In this role, you will:
✨ Provide strategic leadership, governance reporting and oversight of performance, risk and accountability
✨ Build high-trust partnerships across government, peak bodies, ACCOs, training providers, research and community services
✨ Lead a multidisciplinary team and drive high-quality, evidence-informed workforce initiatives
✨ Oversee sustainable operations including budget management, compliance and organisational systems
✨ Champion culturally responsive, trauma-informed and collaborative ways of working
