This project was a 1920`s house with a 80`s rear extension (new kitchen, large family room) the flooring was finished with tiles and carpet, but the home owner wanted Jarrah flooring. As we have the ability to custom make board sizes from recycled timer, there was no need to remove the tiles, and two different thickness of boards were used (14 and 24mm) to make one clean level floor.
The varnish finish was Matt but the floor looks glossy because the varnish is still wet.
