🪡 Made this stripey linen set using inspo from Pinterest ~ the bubble style shorts are a staple but the crop isn’t a fav unfortunately!

🪡 Pattern tested the for ~ such a simple, beautiful design that I’ll be making in multiple colors & fabrics!!! Highly recommend this bag for an easy 1-day sewing project ✂️

🪡 A last minute Valentines Day outfit 💃 I thought it would be fun to make something under pressure Project Runway stylez with no design in mind and just grabbing whatever red fabric I had in my stash ~ took about 5 hours and I just drafted straight onto the mannequin because my measurements are close. Conclusion: i never love what I make under pressure 😆 and I prefer to spend an unnecessary amount of time on the finishes of my pieces because I like the inside to be just as nice as the outside 🙃 and then I actually only wore the top out with a denim skirt coz we got fish & chips and sat in the car 🐟🍟🚘❤️👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

🪡 And finally, the first toile of a potential next pattern release 📐 I’m not sold on it yet but it’s early days and I still need to make adjustments & see it in something other than calico.. watch this space ❤️‍🔥

The crop is slightly twisted at the front which isn’t super noticeable but I can feel it when I wear it & it gives me the ick 😆 and I wanted more volume in it, should have made 1 more sample before the final but I was impatient 😅 so the crop might not get many wears but the shorts will be a staple fo’ sure 🕺🏻
