Today we celebrated the wonderful diversity within our centre community with a Cultural Lunch, where children, families and educators were invited to bring along a special dish to share.
And wow – what a feast it was! 🌏❤️
Our tables were filled with an incredible variety of delicious foods from different cultures and family traditions. We enjoyed everything from Scotch eggs, Kiwi fry bread, sausage rolls, dumplings and pizza, to South African milk tart, German schnitzel, beef pies and so much more.
Sharing food is such a meaningful way to learn about different cultures, spark conversations, and bring people together. It was beautiful to see children exploring new tastes, asking questions, and celebrating the unique backgrounds that make our community so special.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed a dish and helped make today’s Cultural Lunch such a memorable experience. Our hearts – and our bellies – are very full! 😊🍽️

🐘🦕🦞 Fashion was the focus today as our little designers created colourful collars for a very unusual group of animals! From dinosaurs and elephants to crayfish, snakes and even whale sharks, every creature received a one of a kind accessory.
While the animals looked fabulous, the real magic was in the learning. Children strengthened fine motor skills, explored patterns and sequencing, practised problem solving, and shared wonderful conversations about colours, creativity, and their animals’ favourite things.
Who knew a crayfish could be so stylish?
