Guess what??? The Duncraig Pilates classes will be starting back next week!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 (11th October) and I would love to see you all there. 😀

Classes are choreographed to catered for beginners through to advanced & I demonstrate variations and adjustments for those that are pregnant/post natal or injured.

Being active is who I am, growing up in QLD I discovered dance at a young age & it became my life, I lived & breathed it. I would spend hours in the spare bedroom of my parents' house practicing with tapes of the songs we were learning in class on repeat. (𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝘆 ’𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀’ 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 🙄.....𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀? 😝😂😂)

When I was in year 11, I commenced my teacher training & by the end of year 12 I was a fully qualified dance instructor & teaching full time. 🙌🏼

As well as teaching I was also performing professionally & even did a stint as a Brisbane Broncos Cheer leader for a few years.

I guess you could say my passion for teaching originated from a love of
movement and an understanding that it is such a key element in our physical, emotional & mental well-being.

I gave up dancing at the age of 24 & in 2007 my husband and I moved to Perth where I commenced my training in contemporary Pilates & teaching methodology. By the start of 2008 '𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘁’ was born! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

I am so grateful that I get to do what I love & share what I love with you all & to help you look & feel amazing inside & out. 😊
