s Union Western Australian Branch or, just simply, the ASU WA Branch. We are also known in Western Australia as the Western Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union of Employees. Description
We represent the interests of workers in industries as diverse as local government, airlines, utilities, social and community services, information technology, transport and travel, call centres, and private sector clerical and administrative. General Information

ASU FACEBOOK PAGE MODERATION: users who post offensive material will be banned. Irrelevant material will be deleted. There are a few simple rules that visitors to the ASU page and our other social networking websites should follow:

- we invite visitors to leave comments, however, inappropriate, irrelevant, offensive or legally dubious comments will be removed. We strongly recommend you keep the following advice in mind:

- don’t criticise your place of employment or customers/clients, your employer, manager or other workmates. You can speak in general terms about your experience of work, and the things you want to see improved. If you have a specific concern or problem at work that you need to talk about, don't air it on social media, call the Member Services Centre right away on 08 9427 7777 or 1800 064 657.

- don’t become a client's/customer’s friend, don’t invite them to become your friend, don’t follow them, don’t discuss them or their personal and/or financial details.

- don’t post photographs of yourself engaging in illegal, offensive, compromising or inappropriate activity.

- don’t post photographs of yourself engaging in conduct in the workplace which may be deemed inappropriate by your employer. The same goes for comments.

- be aware that anything you say or do on this website when absent on sick leave may be used to cast doubt on your right to be on sick leave.

- don’t use a work computer to access this website if it puts you in conflict with your employer’s computer access for personal use policy.

- ensure your social media account privacy settings do not allow open public access.

- don’t update your status about something work-related.

- don’t join questionable groups on a social networking site. NOTE: the views of visitors to the ASU WA Branch Page are not the views of the ASU WA Branch.
