Investing in our people = Better outcomes for our patients.

As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and professional development, we’re proud to support our veterinarians as they continue to grow their skills and confidence.

Recently, Dr Louise Barnett and a group of our vets took part in focused ultrasound training, combining theory on capturing the best possible images with hands-on practical sessions. Our vets were guided on developing a systemic approach to scanning, ensuring optimal visualisation of any abnormalities, and allowing vets to be more confident in procedures such as cystocentesis sampling.

To maximise the value of the training, the teams brought along their own ultrasound machines, ensuring they could apply what they learnt directly within their clinics, strengthening their diagnostic capabilities and improving patient outcomes.

At AVG, every opportunity to learn and refine our skills reinforces our purpose: to deliver better care for our patients and the communities we serve.
