Today we heard the news that maintenance workers at Fiona Stanley Hospital have won their battle against Serco for better wages and conditions.

Congratulations to CFMEU WA, CFMEU Mining & Energy, ETU WA Branch and Plumbing and Pipe Trades Employees Union WA members!

The Hospitality industry is a shining example of exploitation and theft, even before COVID hit million dollar companies were being hit by fines (more a slap on the wrist). There is never any excuse to underpay your workers.

Hi folks! As part of our program we’ve been doing food runs in the city, giving out water, fruit and hot meals to people in need. Here’s a pic of us from last Sunday!

Up to this point we’ve been paying out of our own pockets, and thought it might be a good idea to reach out to the community for some help!

We know not everyone is comfortable with just giving money to strangers, so anything from toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, tampons) for health kits to fruit and veg, even home cooked meals (which we’ve found that people greatly appreciate).
