During this 3.5 hour flight I put the most prolific operator of flights between Australia and Bali to the ultimate test to get to the bottom of whether Jetstar really deserves such a bad reputation from these flights. Aside from this I also thoroughly assess the onboard a321neo experience looking at everything from the onboard seating, service, food, IFE and also the pros and cons of sitting at Jetstar's most spacious seat that is 29a!

I also offer my thoughts on the overall value of Jetstar on these flights and how they might compare in this regard to there Indonesian competitors. As an added bonus I also check out the Aspire International Lounge at Perth Airport prior to the flight! At the end of the review I also conduct an impromptu Jetstar 'Pub Test' with fellow travelling companions to gauge an overall collective assessment of what the flight was really like.

In the review I assess Southwest's onboard experience from the complimentary drinks and snacks, in flight entertainment, crew and what you can expect on board with the relatively new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.

I also take you through what you can expect with SouthWest's infamous unassigned boarding process showing you what the experience is like coming from a reasonably good but certainly not best boarding position of A-38!

I also assess the wider assertion that Southwest Airlines is America's best value low cost carrier and whether Southwest's unassigned boarding process and simplified operational procedures may actually be the key to the airline's ability to operate efficiently whilst delivering value for customers at the same time.

I also look at how unassigned seating may actually be Southwest's biggest money spinner bringing a healthy stream of revenue to the airline through all its ancillary products based around elevated boarding positions!
