It’s a little busy but I love my indoor set up. Having a space that’s clean, tidy, with good light and has everything you need, including fans and good air flow is a great way to keep your training on point. Show me your pain cave, gym, man cave or whatever you call it.

Visited the WA Museum today and was pleasantly surprised to see they had a small bit on bikes and the 1983 world champion, Steele Bishop bike. If you don’t know who he is look him up, W.A cycling icon, as you can see from the pictures I have one of his signed jerseys in the gym.

Today we are looking at strength testing 📈

An athlete came in 8 weeks ago after a hamstring injury. You can see from the image on the left his hamstring strength was low. Fast forward 8 weeks and you can see the strength is on the rise and slowly getting back to where it should be after following a structured training and rehab plan!

The second image is showing quad strength over the same time period 🦵🏼You can see that we have narrowed the difference between right and left from 6% - 2%.

🚴🏼‍♂️What does this mean as a cyclist? If you can get the same muscle groups to put out the same strength you are going to be a more efficient and well balanced cyclist. The smallest of imbalances can make a huge difference to how well you ride. If you find one leg, or one muscle group is always fatiguing quicker or sore after a ride, maybe you have an imbalance that can be fixed with a tailored gym program, get in contact and book your strength testing now!
