We recently completed a public paranormal tour at the Swan View Tunnel, a location steeped in history and local legend. It has long been suggested that train drivers lost their lives in the tunnel during the steam era after being overcome by smoke. As with many historical stories, there are varying versions of the events, but one thing remains consistent , the tunnel can be a very active location, particularly after dark.
Over the years, we have captured a number of interesting images and regularly experience activity across multiple devices during our investigations. We don't often share every photograph we take, not because we fail to capture anything, but because we carefully assess each image and often find logical explanations for what may initially appear unusual.
The image shown here was captured by public participant Lisa during our recent tour. What makes this photograph particularly interesting is that it is difficult to attribute to lens flare or other obvious external influences. It was taken in the middle of the tunnel, while several members of the group were receiving responses through their devices indicating that we were being watched and followed.
The bright light visible in the background is the far entrance of the tunnel. When reviewing the image, our team identified several possible interpretations. Some members can see what appears to be a person on horseback, with the darker section below resembling a horse. Others have noted similarities to the clothing worn by train drivers of that era after comparing historical photographs and records.
As always, we encourage people to examine the image for themselves and draw their own conclusions. Nothing is ever 100%, but in this case we believe we have captured something in this tunnel.
Good morning, thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in joining our public investigations. We are planning to conduct one in September and, due to the high volume of interest, another in November. The exact dates and times will be confirmed shortly.π«Ά
