many tipes of wax that can be use for candles: bee wax, coconut wax, soy wax, paraffin wax and many more.

Paraffin is one of the most common material on the candles business due to it low price, but is also one of the most "dangerous" due to the source that basically is petroleum, According to a study in 2009 from South Carolina State University in the United States "can be harmful and even cause cancer".
Researchers there found that in unventilated rooms, kerosene candles emit chemicals such as toluene, which can cause dizziness, headache & respiratory problems.

So, here is a list with the main differences between soy wax and paraffin wax.
