The Bearue of Meteorology has issued a warning for Western Australia in severe weather for both Saturday and early Sunday morning.

We would like to recommend and advise you to limit your activities outdoor and seek shelter when you can. However, we have predicted that the rain will continue throughout the long weekends (WA Day).

For those who have planned to go to the WA Day Festival, the event has been cancelled due to the extreme weather.

It's soon to be minus 10 with the speed limits.

The current speed limit for inside the College are 20 km/h and soon we will change that to 10 km/h.

Reduce the speed limit - it will increase the safety of our students while walking around the parking lot or crossing the road.

The changes will come into effect from Tuesday, 15 January 2024.

At this stage, our staff are still on holiday period and will return by then.

These systems help communicate the severity of the heat event to the public and provide guidance on how to stay safe during extreme heat.

One common system is the Heat Index (HI) or Apparent Temperature, which combines temperature and humidity to determine how hot it feels.

Due to the extreme heat conditions, all events at the College are to be forced cancelled.

This heat are being classified as 'Extreme" and not yet classified as "Very extreme".

We encourage you to take important cautions during the heat hours. Stay safe!

Instead, we encourage candidates to apply in person at the college administration office. Manual applications will be accepted during our office hours, which are from 08:00 am to 17:50 pm. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be available to assist you and answer any questions you may have regarding the vacancies.

We understand that this change may require some adjustment, but it is necessary to prioritize the security of the application process and ensure the confidentiality of candidate information. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

The opportunities will remain open until we have received a sufficient number of qualified candidates for the positions.
