Raising awareness around mental health matters because silence is where people struggle the most.
When we talk openly, we replace shame with understanding and isolation with connection.
Awareness helps people recognise the signs in themselves and in others.
It gives permission to speak up.
It reminds people they’re not weak for struggling and not alone in feeling the way they do.
And the truth is, it doesn’t take grand gestures.
A check-in.
A conversation.
Listening without fixing.
Sharing a post.
Asking “are you really okay?” and meaning it.
Small actions can create safe spaces and safe spaces save lives.

Expecting nothing doesn’t mean you’ve given up.
It means you’ve stopped tying your peace to things you can’t control.
When you expect less from the world, you make room to appreciate more...
the small wins, the quiet moments, the people who stay, the days you simply survive.
Gratitude doesn’t erase the struggle.
But it can change how heavy it feels.
If all you did today was get through it, then that still matters.
Appreciate that!!

Attempted to make a frame on my low profile canopy for my awning today. Added some BCF quick release awning brackets which were modified to suit the awning. Look, I know it's a s**t job but hey, it works for now. Maybe time to think about a shorter awning and look into a different quick release bracket system. At least I had a go and now I know what needs to be done to tidy it all up and to get rid if all the crap.
