We form a circle and sing, giggle and allow the music to carry us away for a little while. Throughout my 20years of working with young people as a singing teacher and in various music groups, I have observed the fascinating way music enhances natural human development. It provides a calming, cathartic, confidence building freedom of expression! This is especially evident in toddlers, as they begin to use more advanced language and refine their motor skills. There is current research linking music education for toddlers to development - self regulation, learning to read and improved social skills. Our small group sessions together will encourage your little ones to naturally explore the world around them - through different age appropriate instruments, a variety of music, nursery rhymes and rhythms.
