Using the knowledge I have learnt through my experiences, counseling, courses and formal Education of exactly what abuse is to assist others to understand and appreciate what they are going through is the best feeling!
Sadly some people do not even realise they are in an abusive relationship as it has been their norm all their lives.
That was me 17 years ago when I rang the domestic violence hotline and stated I was unsure if I was ringing the right people.
They suggested I go to a women's domestic violence shelter ASAP!
I engaged in counseling and was then told my primary caregiver was narcissistic and what I had experienced as a child was far from normal!
From there my journey to heal began. One step at a time!
I now appreciate who I am and share my story in hope to inspire others to begin their healing journey and appreciate how incredible they are! And to find their way back to their authentic selves and their true life purpose.
