❌ INJURY MANAGEMENT ❌

🥇 INJURY RESOLUTION 🥇 is Something we are REALLY passionate about...
It's very common to hear about injury management, and we think it's very important to remember that injuries shouldn't last forever nor should they require constant "management". When we think managed, we think issue addressed and fixed!

When we experience injury we should look to educate ourselves on the why and how and find a way to resolve the issue that is resulting in pain. Sometimes this looks like an athlete learning about the biomechanics of the elbow and how to strengthen the elbow so that it is well balanced in its function and able to endure the load we are requiring of it, without pain. Rather than feeling that the pain is acceptable given the demand the sport has on it. It's important to know that although pain can occur after a diagnosis of an injury, it should go away once we educate ourselves and tackle all of the components of the problem. If pain is reoccurring we need to consider whether the pain generating structure has been identified and treated correctly, and whether knowledge (injury education) around the issue is sufficient.

Pain is never normal or to be expected.

It's not really about which pillow you buy! It's about fitting one to your sleeping position. We'll explain it all, at your next appointment!
