And let me tell you, I meditated 10 days silently with no one around me. I cleared my mind, as I thought... but the moment I got back into reality, it hit me. I didn't do anything as I didn't recognize what was actually making me feel unsafe, not good enough, and not loved enough. I didn't recognize what I was afraid of...
When my coach, who I worked with 1:1 for 6 months, finally showed me the light, and I cried for 2 days, I finally was able to:
Recognize where the fear was coming from that was causing my nervous system to be dysregulated.
Respond to that fear.
Release it.
That is when I felt safe, and only then was my body able to release inflammation, stress, weight. I slept like a baby and was able to face life head-on.
There is no magic pill for this, no short courses, and I am sorry to say that, but that is why if you are not changing who you are, nothing else will.

Here is the truth 🙌
When I stopped living for others and started living for me, everything changed.
✨ I stopped asking, “What will they think?”
✨ I started asking, “What do I need?”
Because the truth is:
You can’t keep giving from a nervous system that’s fried.
You can’t pour from a body that’s constantly in fight-or-flight.
And you can’t be the woman, the mother, the leader you dream of being…
…when you’re running on nothing but caffeine, chaos, and coping.
I spent years overfunctioning.
Pleasing. Performing. Pretending I was “fine.”
Until my body said no more.
So I chose to rewrite the story.
Here’s what I did when I started prioritising my nervous system:
🌀 I gave myself permission to rest — without guilt.
🌀 I carved out unapologetic time just for me — even if it was just 10 minutes a day, where I maditated in silnce with my legs up on the wall.
🌀 I stopped chasing their approval and started listening to what my heart and body needed.
It wasn’t easy.
But it was liberating.
Your body isn’t the problem.
Your pace is.
You don’t need another productivity hack —
You need permission to slow the f* down.**
