Another stunning hatchling produced this season from the vertebral Nephrurus wheeleri project. Such an underrated species that deserves more attention as to how amazing they are to be kept.

It's been a fairly quiet breeding season, but I'm glad to have produced some more parthenogenesis Bynoes Geckos. Being one of just a few asexually reproducing vertebrates, they lay eggs with vigour during the breeding season. During this period, the intake of food and calcium is absolutely critical, or they will quite literally strip themselves of all their bodily reserves to produce eggs. Nevertheless, they are an extremely underrated and unique species to be able to keep.

I recently had the privilege of obtaining some stunning Northern Banded Knobtail Geckos (Nephurus cinctus) produced by Nephrurus Geckos WA. If anyone is looking to acquire this species, I’d highly recommend sending them a message.

Looking forward to working with these amazing geckos over the next few years.
