Federal Budget 2024-25 Highlights for Your Business!

Jim Chalmers recently announced a budget surplus, emphasizing careful spending amidst low growth (1.5%) and persistent inflation.

Here’s what you need to know:

🔹 Tax Cuts: Tranche 3 Income Tax rates effective from 1st July 2024 are now law.

🔹 Energy Incentives: Deduct up to $20,000 on assets installed by mid-next year. Go green and save!

🔹 Electricity Bill Relief: Small businesses get $325 off next year, households receive a $300 credit in July.

🔹 Instant Asset Write-Off: Claim a 20% bonus deduction on spending up to $100,000 for energy-efficient upgrades.

🔹 Superannuation Changes: From 1st July 2026, pay employees’ super on payday, not quarterly.
