The Day of Arafah is one of the greatest days of the year — a day of mercy, forgiveness, du’a, dhikr, Qur’an, and sincere worship.

Fasting on the Day of Arafah is a beautiful opportunity for two years of sins to be wiped out — the sins of the previous year and the coming year, by the mercy of Allah.

Make the most of Dhul Hijjah 9 by fasting, seeking forgiveness, praying your farḍ and sunnah prayers, increasing your du’a, and filling your day with good deeds.

May Allah accept our worship, forgive our sins, wipe away our mistakes, answer our du’a, and make us among those freed from the Fire. Ameen.

Alhamdulillāh, another beautiful journey begins 🤍

Today May 8, 2026 corresponding to Dhul Qidah 21 1447 AH , Cleo, originally from the Philippines, embraced Islam and took her shahādah at Sakinah Islamic Centre.

What began as curiosity and sincere conversations became a journey towards faith, peace, and purpose. With the support of the ukhties, the welcoming community at Al-Rafeeq, and the guidance of Shaikh Zafar Marwat, Cleo took this beautiful and life-changing step surrounded by love, support, and heartfelt duʿā’.

At Al-Rafeeq, the journey does not end at shahādah — it is only the beginning. Our community is always here for support, friendship, unlimited questions, and ongoing guidance. Whether at Bedford or Sakinah, our members and mashāyikh are committed to helping new Muslims learn, grow, and feel connected every step of the way.

This is a reminder that daʿwah is often through kindness, sincerity, patience, and good character. A simple conversation or welcoming smile can change someone’s life forever.
