👉At The Keeping Place, we are dedicated to ensuring that Indigenous voices are amplified in the development conversation. We provide PBCs and ACs with the tools they need to assert their rights and make sure their cultural and economic needs are met. Whether it’s through land management, sustainable agriculture, or renewable energy projects, Indigenous peoples have the knowledge and resources to be key partners in shaping development.

Governments, businesses, and investors need to understand the importance of listening to Indigenous communities. We are not just stakeholders in the future of development—we are leaders in creating the right frameworks for cultural and environmental sustainability.

Unfortunately, too often, Aboriginal communities are left out of the conversation, and their rights and aspirations are overlooked.

At The Keeping Place, we are committed to building the capacity of Traditional Owner Groups to actively participate in development decisions.

We work closely with PBCs/ACs to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to engage with developers, ensuring that their cultural and economic goals are respected and realised.

Supporting PBCs and ACs means investing in their ability to advocate for their communities and navigate the complex development process.

Through our platform, we provide resources and facilitate knowledge sharing to ensure that Traditional Owner Groups can meaningfully contribute to the planning and ex*****on of development projects.

True partnerships are based on shared responsibility, and this means respecting the obligations and priorities of Aboriginal communities.

These practices are more important than ever as the world grapples with climate change, deforestation, and environmental degradation.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples hold valuable ecological knowledge that must be recognised and integrated into modern development efforts.🌿🌍

The Keeping Place helps PBCs/ACs access the tools and resources needed to engage with development proponents, ensuring that projects are informed by Aboriginal perspectives and uphold Indigenous rights.
