Another great weekend for some of the team, with Rune, Amren and Posh having some Agility & Games fun at the Cloverdale Agility trial.
Challenging runs for Rune and Amren, as they entered the ring without me as their regular handler.
The girls had lots of lovely runs, and got one Q each.

After agility, we raced across to the WA Junior Handlers State Finals at Dogs West where Sorin was a swap dog for a young handler in the 7-u10 age class.
Swap dogs are an unknown dog for the handler to take in if they make it into the 2nd round of the competition.
Sorin and his allocated junior had never worked together before, but despite this, they worked well as a team and his handler came out with 🥇 a First place in her age group!

We have another big weekend ahead, with a couple of different activities planned 🤩

A quick update on our last two weekends of Agility trials.
The youngest litter are now old enough to participate in agility trials, so Amren has had a few runs and is gaining confidence and speed rapidly.
She had a cracker of a Novice Snooker run, and got her first pass towards her title, her Novice Jumping and Open Jumping Runs have been fantastic, with a few baby-dog mistakes or handler errors keeping those passes at bay. We are loving finding our groove and I'm super excited to see how she goes as she gains more experience and we learn to work together as a team.

Rune has had a good couple of weeks, gaining a Masters Jumping pass, an Open Jumping pass and a Novice Agility pass. She also got another clear run in Masters Jumping but unfortunately ran slightly over time.

Our next Agility trials will be at the WA State competition in a few weeks time.
