Now that winter has arrived, we’re calling on our wonderful school community to help stock our 2nd Hand Uniform Shop!

If your child has outgrown any Palmview winter uniforms, jumpers, jackets or pants, we’d appreciate any donations. Your pre-loved uniforms help support families and ensure all students have access to affordable school uniforms.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at the Palmview Special School Administration Office or your local school office.

📚Reader's Cup 2026📚
Last Thursday night, our Year 7 students took on the Year 7/8 Readers Cup competition and represented our College with pride, determination and plenty of enthusiasm.

A huge congratulations to Nimmi, Ayra and Ellie, who worked incredibly hard preparing for the competition and should be so proud of what they achieved.

With our College Expo kicking off in less than an hour, one of the additions we are most excited about this year is the addition of coffee prepared by students at 'The Grove' cafe putting into practice the skills they recently acquired through professional barista training.

At the end of May, our students had the exciting opportunity learn the art of making the perfect cup of coffee from Brent Deller from First Batch Coffee Roasters.

Students explored the journey of coffee, from its origins to the science behind creating the perfect cup. They developed valuable industry skills, including the correct grind size and dose, understanding extraction and crema pour times, and texturing milk to achieve the ideal silky viscosity.

Most importantly, students had the chance to put their new knowledge into practice then and there, crafting delicious coffees and building confidence behind the coffee machine. Impressively, some students even achieved their very first coffee art creations on their first attempts!

A huge congratulations to all students for their enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to learn. We look forward to watching these skills continue to develop as they take the next steps towards becoming the newest Palmview Café baristas! ☕🙌
