We’re proud to have partnered with Aeromedical Australia to design and build a digital platform that supports more effective air ambulance dispatch decisions — in real time, and at scale.

Built to meet the strategic challenges of air ambulance operations, the system enables:

1. Smarter triage for better patient outcomes
2. Reduced costs and carbon emissions through optimised aircraft use
3. Transparent decision-making across a scalable, integrated platform

Wave worked closely with the founder – a frontline pilot with deep system knowledge – to shape a product that delivers value across clinical, operational and financial levels.

Now in a research trial with a large government agency, the product is demonstrating its potential to help services extend reach, reduce risk, and make the best use of limited resources.

Twice a year, we bring our entire team together in Melbourne - to collaborate, celebrate and recognise all the hard work that goes into what we do every day. ✨

Our most recent gathering was full of energy and meaning. We kicked things off with some team building activities that reminded us of the value of play - even (especially!) as adults in the working world. The best part was that we were able to blend our play with philanthropy - we absolutely relished the challenge of building bikes for disadvantaged kids, which were then donated to the amazing local charity, HeartKids . A big thank you to the guys at Corporate Challenge Events for providing such a unique and fun experience for us, everyone loved it!

We also wrapped up our final day of The Push-Up Challenge! Over three weeks, our team pushed through more than 17,000 push-ups and other exercises (including bouldering!), and raised $650 in support of mental health services in Australia. It was our first time completing the challenge, and we're all a bit weary, but it was so great to see everyone persevere and support each other through til the end! 👏🏅

Our big day ended with a well-earned Brazilian BBQ feast at B'Churrasco - the most mouth-watering food, enjoyed with the best crew.

🧡 Once again, we’re so thrilled to collaborate with The Push-Up Challenge on their app to help raise awareness and fundraise for mental health! 🧡

It’s been an incredible five-year journey with The Push-Up Challenge, from designing and developing the first app version and iterating through the years – including expanding to Canada in 2024 and introducing new multilingual capability.

We can’t wait for The Push-Up Challenge to kick off in Australia next week, from 4-26 June. Hundreds of thousands of participants will be using the app to see their daily push-up targets, track progress, read daily mental health facts and fundraise. Watching the action unfold and communities coming together for an important cause is truly a highlight of our year.

This year, for the first time ever, Wave will be joining the Challenge to push for better mental health together and have some fun along the way.
