Dear First Light Active Members,

We are writing to provide an important update regarding the opening of our new First Light Active location at 81 Doggett Street, Newstead.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the opening of First Light Active has needed to be postponed and will now take place on Wednesday, 7 January.

This delay is due to required electrical works that must be completed to ensure the space is fully compliant and safe before welcoming members.

We recognise that this update comes at a time when many of you are looking forward to starting the new year strong and establishing your training routines. We understand how disappointing this timing may be, and this decision was not made lightly.



All memberships will be paused from Monday, 22 December 2025. Memberships will be reactivated from Sunday, 5 January, allowing members to book classes ahead of reopening.



We are also hopeful that studio classes may be able to commence from Monday, 5 January. At this stage, we are awaiting final clarification and will confirm this by Tuesday afternoon.



Our priority is to open the space properly, safely, and to the standard you expect and deserve, ensuring your experience from day one is seamless and uncompromised.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this delay may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding as we finalise these important works.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you into our new home at First Light Active and beginning this next chapter together.
