As NAIDOC Week 2026 comes to a close, we want to acknowledge and celebrate the enduring strength, culture, leadership and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly, reminds us of the generations of people who have built, sustained and strengthened the NAIDOC movement - and of the importance of continuing that work into the future.
At Solid Foundations Allied Health, we are grateful for the opportunity to reflect during NAIDOC Week and to reaffirm our commitment to respectful, inclusive and culturally safe practice for the children, young people, adults and families we support.
NAIDOC Week may end today, but the responsibility to listen, learn and act with respect continues every day.

Today we celebrate the strength of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities.
Families, kinship networks and community connections are central to identity, belonging, resilience and wellbeing. They hold stories, knowledge, culture and strength across generations.
At Solid Foundations Allied Health, we are privileged to work alongside children, young people, adults and families in our community, and we recognise the importance of listening to lived experience, valuing identity and building support around respect and genuine partnership.

This year’s theme - 50 Years of Deadly - celebrates five decades of recognising, honouring and elevating the history, culture, achievements and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At Solid Foundations Allied Health, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live, and we pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise the strength, wisdom and enduring connection to culture, family and Country held by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
This week is an opportunity to celebrate, listen, learn and reflect - and to recognise the oldest continuing cultures in the world.
