INTEREST RATES - NO PAUSE TO PAIN

It may have paused rate rises, but the Reserve Bank now reports the consequences of 6 consecutive hikes as if they didn't cause the problem to begin with!

The Australian today reports the following:

"The Reserve Bank has warned four in ten households have less than a three-month buffer in mortgage repayments, and a small group of borrowers with low savings and a high level of debt could fail to meet their repayments."

Of course it's the poorer who are most affected. Why state the obvious as though they didn't know what would happen? Is it an an attempt to save face by feigning concern? We are appalled 🤬
