Lipedema-
Why a sauna could be beneficial? 🤔
*Sauna use is not a miracle cure, but when applied consistently it can offer meaningful support in helping relieve the symptoms of lipedema.
*One of the most important effects is the stimulation of blood and lymph circulation, which can reduce the swelling and ease that feeling of tightness.
*It also helps relax harden connective tissue.
*The infrared saunas heat is lower and more gentle on the circulatory system
*Regular sauna use supports detoxification especially when applied with adequate fluid intake.
Before the sauna session:
*Drink 200-300ml of water
*Avoid entering on a empty stomach or after a heavy meal.
*Remove pressure garments before entering. But place them back on after.
After the sauna session
*Rehydrate
*Rest for 15-30min,ideally with legs elevated.
*If able to use a massage gun or recovery boots to help continue with detoxification from the blood stream.
