Emily is one of the only female Bronc Riders in the country, and she’s absolutely smashing it.
Her journey started in the racing world as an apprentice jockey, until a particularly wild Thoroughbred in Toowoomba bucked her off seven times in one icy morning, leaving her with a fractured kneecap and a wild idea:
“I figured if I was going to get bucked off, I may as well learn to ride horses that are meant to buck!”
Turns out, she’s a natural and is the 2024 Australian Champion Ranch Bronc Rider.
