A large range of enrichment and enhancement programs are available to students within and outside the classroom: in areas cultural and artistic, sporting and leisure, and in competitions such as the Australian Mathematics Competition and ICAS, the International Competition and Assessment for Schools. International Tours provide an opportunity for global learning experiences with Sister school relationships with Japanese and German schools provide opportunities to host visitors and to travel to Japan and Germany; and opportunities for students to visit developing countries through the World Challenge program. Our renowned Volleyball program has extensive participation by students across all year levels, including achieving results at Australian Schools Cup, placing us in the Top 10 in Australia. The college has a strong focus on Science, Technology and The Arts and a reputation for excellence in Creative Arts within the Dandenong Ranges and statewide in exhibitions such as VCAA Seasons of Excellence: Top Arts and Top Designs. There are many opportunities for student leadership with Monbulk College; House and Sports captains, cross age sports coaching and a strong student involvement through 'Monbulk Student Voice'.
