Fallen Tree Furniture

Some time ago I had the pleasure of making my daughter's first proper bed. I remember her being swallowed by the size of this bed in comparison to what she had before. Now as she's grown, it's proportionate to her and I'm now considering the next bed I have to make. The 'guardian' owl is carved into the headboard and filled with black resin, I look to this guy to protect and watch over her as she travels her dreams. The frame is made from American Oak with ancient Bog Oak accents at the base of the legs.

Tassie Blackwood unit safely delivered to a great client in Hawthorne. It takes some time to handcraft the dovetails and through tenons but it’s what I love to do.
