Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence in Australian Immigration Services
On 10th July 2025, Monash Migration and our Senior Migration Agent, Yftach Saar—known to many of his clients simply as Geoff—will proudly celebrate 25 years of dedicated service and full registration in the Australian immigration field.
Since the year 2000, we’ve had the privilege of preparing, lodging, and managing hundreds (if not thousands) of visa applications for individuals, families, and businesses across Australia and the globe. From temporary visas (Work, Student, Tourist, etc.) to provisional (Skilled) and permanent residency pathways (Partner, Business, Skilled, Protection, Parent, etc.), including Tribunal appeals, we’ve maintained an exceptional success rate of over 99%.
This journey has been long, challenging, and at times stressful—but above all, it has been incredibly rewarding. We look back with pride on the impact we’ve made and the lives we’ve helped transform.
We’ve come a long way since the “prehistoric” paper-based days of the early 2000s, when visa applications were sent by courier to the Department of Immigration. Today, we operate in a fully digital environment, managing applications seamlessly online.
Alongside his professional achievements, our founder and senior agent, Yftach (Geoff), began his immigration services career holding a Business Degree and later went on to complete an Australian Law Degree — a testament to his unwavering pursuit of excellence and deep expertise in the field.
From all of us at Monash Migration, thank you for being part of our journey. Here's to the next chapter!

Acting Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs: Joint media release - Supporting international students to support Australian jobs
These five visa changes will ensure international students are not worse off due to the coronavirus pandemic and that Australia remains competitive with other countries.
The changes include:
1. The Government will recommence granting student visas in all locations lodged outside Australia. This means when borders re-open, students will already have visas and be able to make arrangements to travel.
2. International students will be able to lodge a further student visa application free of charge, if they are unable to complete their studies within their original visa validity due to COVID-19.
3. Current student visa holders studying online outside Australia due to COVID-19 will be able to use that study to count towards the Australian study requirement for a post-study work visa.
4. Graduates who held a student visa will be eligible to apply for a post-study work visa outside Australia if they are unable to return due to COVID-19.
5. Additional time will be given for applicants to provide English language results where COVID-19 has disrupted access to these services.
Joint media release - Supporting international students to support Australian jobs The Morrison Government is making a number of changes to student visa arrangements to ensure Australia remains a priority destination for international students as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
