Rural Workforce Agency Victoria (RWAV) is a non-profit government funded organisation improving health care for rural, regional and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Victoria. We recruit GPs, nurses and allied health professionals, and arrange locum relief, as well as providing access to government grants and outreach services.

RWAV proudly recognises NAIDOC Week, celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
This year’s theme, 50 Years of Deadly, honours the strength, resilience, and excellence of First Nations communities. “Deadly” is a term of pride - still deadly, always.
At RWAV, we remain committed to supporting culturally safe healthcare and working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across rural and regional Victoria.
