The Banana Alley Vaults were first constructed between 1891-1892 and were used as storage facilities by local fruit merchants to store their wares. The name “Banana Alley” came about specifically from Bananas being stored and ripened in the Vaults, before being taken to market. In 2001 several extensive renovations were completed, and Vault 7 & 8 officially opened its doors as Platform One Nightcl
