Born in New Zealand/Aotearoa to a union man and his beautiful patrician wife, Karajane Penelope Moana Chapman-Brill showed an immediate interest in reading and music. She spent the first five years of her life enjoying the sounds of the great masters playing around her from her mother's vinyl collection. Karajane began playing the piano at the ago of two, when her mother discovered her standing on

It’s time to give all we can to the charities we support and I have been donating to the RSPCA, Animal Aid, WWF Australia, The Lost Dogs’ Home and a number of other worldwide and local charities aimed at improving the lives of animals everywhere ever since I began modelling.

I am also grateful and humbled to be able to say that over the past two years I have raised more than $5,000 for these charities alone. I couldn’t have done this without the support of my army of followers - from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everybody who has supported me on this journey. Xx

I have just freestyled my first rap.

It'll be out on Tik Tok as soon as I put the beats to it.

Hi

Hi

Hello

Hi

Hiiiiiiiiiiii

F**ken slt (because I WON'T talk to you?!)

Hello

Hi.Did you enjoy reading that? No? Then don't bombard random ass people with these messages. We're tired of them. They're obstructive, uninvited and unwanted.

I love to make new friends, but don't come at me with that s**t. Tell me who you are. Tell me what you're about. If you're a long time fan, tell me that! I try to respond to each and every piece of fan mail that I get, but that isn't always possibly for somebody who receives hundreds of pieces of correspondence every single day. And beginning a statement with the attempted assurance that "I ain't no stalker but..." is a BIG red flag. Just yesterday I was told that I am "evil" by an hysteric who couldn't handle the fact that rather than agreeing to accompany him to an unknown destination after being left alone in his filthy house for ninety solid ass minutes the night before. So, no. I am a tolerant person. I'm a Buddhist and I strongly uphold the principles of karma. Please respect that my time is valuable: I didn't spend my ENTIRE LIFE working to escape from one hellhole only to end up in another kind of prison.

A Stan is a guy that thinks he's fly
And is also known as an obsessive
Always talkin' about what he wants
And just sits on his Mum's MAC
So no, I don't want your number
No, I don't want to give you mine and
No, I don't want to meet you nowhere
No, I don't want none of your time and
No, I don't want no Stan
A Stan is a guy that can't get no love from me
Hangin' out the passenger side
Of his best friend's ride
Trying to holla at me
I don't want no Stan
A Stan is a guy that can't get no love from me
Hangin' out the passenger side
Of his best friend's ride
Trying to holla at me.

This song made me who I am today. When it was released, I was being severely bullied. I was forced to walk a gauntlet to get into the gates of an all-girls school that I didn't want to go to, but which my mother had insisted upon enrolling me in. She later admitted to regretting this decision - my mother didn't make many mistakes, but unfortunately this was one of them.

The attacks started about three weeks after I started school there.

For awhile, the girls would just stare at me from a distance. Then they moved closer and finally, they began attacking me. I knew enough Taekwondo and Boxing to fend their ridiculous attempts at attack off even when they came at me in groups.

This made them angrier and angrier. Not one of them had been able to punch me - not even once - in all of the ten months that I'd been at that school.

So, a group of them brought in a ringer.

On the day before my sixteenth birthday I was dragged from outside the school gates into the vacant parking lot next to the school by my waist-length hair. Four girls held me back while their ringer, who was bigger than my abusive father, whaled into me.

This video really hits me in the feels, because I managed to wriggle one foot free and kick the bully in the gut as hard as I could. She stumbled backwards, tripped over her own clumsy feet, fell and landed awkwardly on her arm, breaking it.

The news had spread around the whole school by the next day and I was chased out. On my sixteenth birthday, I was forced to take a Leaver's Card to all of my teachers to sign their "permission" for me to leave school. Academics was now my only way of escaping that town, as gymnastics had been recently taken from me.

I was at my lowest point, but this song picked me up and put me onto my feet. I got a job at a hotel as a Room Attendant. Every day I walked 4.1km to work all day cleaning rooms, and then I walked 4.1km home. My back constantly ached; I was exhausted all the time.

But I saved up enough money to begin studying via distance learning - before the internet was what it is today. I didn't even touch a computer before I left that country when I was eighteen. I also saved up enough money to begin studying Taekwondo, Aikido and Boxing.

I was able to put a stop to my father's abuse of my mother and me, and when the ringer came for revenge I shattered her jaw. Within six weeks I had won my first fight and I had declared that I wanted t o return to school for my last year, which I did.

I am the only person to have attended and graduated from high school, and I won four scholarships for university that year. I have now studied on four continents, won Martial Arts tournaments in two different countries, and I recently got into Harvard Medical School.

This song is pretty much the reason why.

I also returned to gymnastics, though not at the same level as I was when I was forced to quit. This song literally saved my life and probably also my mother's life, as my father had tried to kill us both on separate occasions. My family was extremely abusive, and I could absolutely relate to the jarring movements in the dark as Christina breaks out of her glass cage. That absolutely spoke to me.

I have travelled the world as an international fashion model. I have more letters behind my surname than are actually in my name and I am a beauty queen. I am a fighter.
