Our grassroots origins as a small residents’ action group at the Deer Park Neighbourhood House have resulted in a fundamental focus on positive change, growth, and empowerment. We are now a large community-based organisation funded by local, state and Commonwealth government departments and other philanthropic trusts. Through this, our team of dedicated professionals now have a greater capacity to deliver on our vision of building the capacity of our community through respecting diversity and striving for social justice. commUnity+ has become a company limited by guarantee to further strengthen governance and prepare for expansion.
