Gracias for welcoming us with such open arms and for the incredible work you’re doing to celebrate and support women in music.
As a Colombian-Australian independent artist, it means so much to discover spaces like this—places that intentionally champion women’s voices and create room for our stories to be heard.
Opened in 2022, Suffragette Records is a one-of-a-kind, family-run record store in Hobart dedicated exclusively to music by women. Its name honours the Suffragettes—the courageous women who fought for women’s right to vote and greater gender equality.
A huge thank you to Audrey for your warmth, your passion, and for making us feel so welcome. It was such a joy to visit your beautiful space.
Here’s to amplifying more women’s voices—one record at a time. ✨
