Following on from our post yesterday about the potential for CAR T-cell therapy in multiple sclerosis, it is encouraging to see the positive initial results being achieved in other autoimmune diseases. A trial at UCL and UCLH - University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has found that a small number of people living with lupus have seen early improvements after receiving this treatment. There is still a lot of work to be done in this area, but we will continue to provide updates as they become available.
